Oh Baby, I’m so in love with you. There is something about the warm way your vocals attack the world, the subdued warmth you spread over the ground you touch, something about the way you move has put a spell on me.

I heard you start up the vaudevillian piano on “ The Night is a Veil” and I knew you had created a classic, your voice anchored against the sounds. You continue to woo me through “ Those Expensive Eyes” and then “Sleeping Winter Fool” starts, and your heart is wretched from the music into the ears of the forgotten and I feel tears. My dear Kat Jones, did you know that you move the world with your voice? Like the siren or Greek muse – you have power over the shadows when you open your mouth. I have never heard anyone quite like you, and nothing really compares to your sparkling voice.

Continuing on through the landscape, it is obvious you are a wonderful talent and with the help of such talented musicians behind you the forefront of perfection is just a quick step away. I continue my sinking bliss through “One More Second Chance” and “When Answers Don't Come”, but slowly I come off the high when I realize that “The Case” is ending your criminally short full-length debut.

I want to thank you for your beauty and the sweetly astounding music you make, for without it the world would be a much colder place.

My only complaint with you, my darling, would be the restraint you show here where once you exploded, your vocals seem to be hiding, slightly more timid this time around. I am sure you still have the chops of angels, and I would love to hear them again.
Until then, fair lady, I will wait with anxious ears.
