This is one of those bands that you won't ever forget. Instantly classic guitar riffs, sweeping melodies and catchy verses envelop the listener and create an atmosphere you wont ever want to leave.
For those of you new to the world of Map - it is the brainchild of Josh Dooley, a multi-instrumentalist that, like his counterparts in Starflyer59 & The Pony Express, does not care that modern American shoegazer has never really seemed to flourish. He just creates his handcrafted masterpieces, one striking song after another. His style is similar to that of indie heavy weights Frank Lenz, or Jason Martin – the latter of which also produced this album for the seminal Velvet Blue Music. From the heavy "Legal and Tender" to the superb calm of "Silhouettes", this album was created as a soundtrack for a generation that refuses to cry in public, and wears their faded biker coats as a symbol of pride.
This is an ageless classic, sure to inspire countless mopey-eyed kids the world over, don't miss out on your chance to own this gem.
